Ocala Sport Horse - Broodmares

Here at Ocala Sport Horse we take great pride in each and every one of our mares. We believe that good horses and ponies come from mares that have correct conformation, that are WELL mannered and have the type of movement and breeding we are looking for to produce the type of horse or pony that someone would be proud to own. EACH of our broodmares can be handled by children and have NO vices to teach their foals. Every one of these mares have had or have a career other than being a broodmare and have proven themselves to be producers of well mannered, well conformed and suitable foals. We are not ones that believe that if you can't do anything else with the mare, just breed her!! We have searched for these mares and chosen them because we feel they are the type of producers to have horses or ponies that can compete and WIN in the show ring and/or in a little boy or girl's heart!!

~ Bold Color ~

Bold Color is a LOVELY Homozygous (can ONLY produce paint foals) Warmblood mare from the renowned ART DECO lines. "BC" has been trained and shown through 2nd level Dressage. She has won USDF awards in Training, First and Second levels. "BC" also participated in the Region 1 Dressage Team Competition at 1st level and placed at the BLM Dressage Championships in 1st level. She has also produced 2 lovely Bay/White paint fillies with the size, temperament and movement to excel in the dressage arena! We are excited to see what she will produce with our stallions.

Bold Color is registered/approved with the Pinto, PHR, RPSI and USDF registries.

~ Carina Repent ~

Carina Repent is a beautiful Thoroughbred mare by the popular stallion Repent. This BIG mare has the looks, bone and movement of a warmblood. She has a gorgeous dark dappled coat year round and a personality to match her beautiful looks!! This mare was picked out just for Donafur and will be a phenomenal cross for sport horses!!

~ Fancy Silk Secret ~

Fancy Silk Secret is a 16H APHA (3/4 Thoroughbred) and RPSI approved Black Sabino mare by the well known 17 hand Thoroughbred Sporthorse stallion Prince Stanley. I can not say enough good things about this absolutely WONDERFUL mare. "Missy" is an INCREDIBLE hunter mover, has a wonderful temperament and is absolutely stunning to boot! This mare out-produces herself everytime and although she is only 16H due to being orphaned as a newborn foal (which stunted her growth) she produces HUGE foals!! I can not wait to see the wonderful foals she will produce with Donafur. I also own her daughter that will be shown and then added to our broodmare band.

Welsh Pony Mare Section A - Lianna's Hy-Sparkles

Lianna's Hy-Sparkles is a gray Section A Welsh mare out of Snow Pony Delphinus by the stallion Baledon Hy Jinx. This lovely mare has the classic welsh substance with a gorgeous babydoll head that the welsh are known for. Sparkles has proven herself to be an outstanding producer of several foals including the FIVE TIME SUPREME CHAMPION and UNDEFEATED IN HAND Section A Welsh stallion Lianna's LS Swagman. We are honored to add a broodmare of this quality to our broodmare band and can't wait to see what her and Donafur produce!!

~ Brooksfield Lollipop ~

Brooksfield Lollipop is a beautiful chestnut roan sabino Section A Welsh mare out of *Swinford Bethan by the beautiful stallion Pentyrch Vodka. Lollipop has excellent foundation breeding and produces the classic welsh substance with beautiful heads and LOTS of chrome! Her foals are lovely movers with TONS of presence! We can't wait to see what her and Donafur produce in 2011.

~ Evans Last Child ~

Evans Last Child is a beautiful and exceptionally well bred grey Section B Welsh mare out of Bristol Jade (who is by the Multi Champion and producer of champions *Lithgow Houdini) and by the SUPREME CHAMPION stallion *Llanrth Cavalcade. This mares pedigree reads like the "who's who" and founding fathers of the Section B welsh! "Child" is a lovely hunter mover and has an incredible temperament, which would be expected with this mares lovely old performance lines which are renowned as children's ponies. We can't wait to see the exceptional foal from her and Donafur in 2011.

~ Furianna ~

Premium Oldenburg Mare

Furianna's sire is Fascination by the legendary Furioso II and out of an Absatz dam line mare. Fascination is one of the leading sires of premium foals registered with the Oldenburg Verband in the United States. He has sired two approved sons including the top scoring stallion at the 1994 100 day stallion test, Flambeau. Furianna was an 8.5 premium foal. She was later presented as a three year old and once again was rated as a premium mare. Furianna has an exemplary personality and is amazing to watch move. Her trot is extremely floaty with a fabulously free shoulder. Her canter is big, balanced and soft. Furianna was successfully shown to 1st level dressage AND also successfully competed in the hunter ring both on the flat and over fences before being retired as a broodmare.
